5km Run, Walk, Jog at Kilkenny Castle Park on Sunday 26 February

CBS Secondary School, Kilkenny will hold a 5km Run, Jog, Walk at Kilkenny Castle Park on Sunday 26 February starting at 11am, with registration from 9:45am to 10:45am at Kilkenny Tennis Club. Subscriptions include €10 per adult, €15 per family and students €5 each. A free raffle will take place immediately afterwards for all participants at the Tennis Club and light refreshments will also be served there.
All monies raised from this fund raising venture will go towards the 'WaSH Programme' in Zambia, which endeavours to improve and in some cases provide water, sanitation and hygiene facilities for more than ten schools in different regions of the country. 'WaSH' is an acronym for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene.
A group of teachers and students from CBS Secondary School, Kilkenny will travel to Zambia at Easter to view the continuing work made possible by their fund raising and thus witness first hand how life has improved for those less fortunate there.
